GINGER LIME SWITCHEL

with maple syrup


Ingredients:

5" piece fresh ginger 

½ cup apple cider vinegar (Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is preferable)

2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

1 tablespoon fresh lime or lemon juice

4 cups water **

Handful of fresh mint sprigs

1 cup of ice


Method

  1. Juice the ginger or chop it very fine and pass through a sieve. 

  2. In a large pitcher add ice, ginger, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, lime juice and mint and stir.

  3. Leave in the fridge too cool until you are ready to drink.

  4. Pour ¼ of the tonic into a glass and top with a cup of water.

  5. Enjoy!

** You can use soda instead of water and or a dash of rum to twist the tonic into a cocktail
